The band drawing the crowd were Marsicans, who sounded as if Kings Of Leon had, after all that Sex On Fire shit, decided to record their next album in Jamaica, on speed, and had a bloody good time doing it.
The Leeds three-piece are purveyors of the kind of up-beat, danceable, African hi life-inflected indie that Vampire Weekend might produce if they weren't so studiously concerned with the correct use of the Oxford comma.
