🎈ANNOUNCEMENT: Due to the ongoing COVID situation and no indication yet about when live music venues will open again for shows, we’ve taken the difficult decision to re-think our plans for the 'Ursa Major' tour scheduled for October.
LONDON, LEEDS and MANCHESTER - these shows will now take place in April of next year, instead of October. All tickets purchased will still be valid for the re-scheduled dates, so just hang on to those and we’ll see you in April. Ace support comes in the shape of Deco and Sad Boys Club.
ABERDEEN, GLASGOW and BRISTOL - sadly, we’ve not been able to re-schedule these shows for April. We hope to get out to you as soon as we can, but for now tickets are refundable from your point of purchase.
🎈Join us for an exclusive interactive online broadcast and celebration, with band chit-chat, a Q&A and live versions of specially selected unheard tracks from our debut album, a few hours ahead of its actual release!
Invitations will be sent to everyone who pre-orders 'Ursa Major' before showtime. You can pre-order yours here.
🎈THE FINAL SINGLE from 'Ursa Major' before our album drops on 14th August is 'Someone Else's Touch'. Recorded on a hot July night in 2019, in a darkened Rockfield Studios, with James delivering an emotional vocal which moved everyone in the room. ✋
🎈MASSIVE ALBUM PRIZE DRAW! We're giving it all away: an ultra-rare signed 'Ursa Major' test pressing + a pair of awesome nuraphone headphones (RRP £349) + a Steepletone UK Ltd Discgo record player with built-in speakers/bluetooth output + a Blackstar Amplification FLY 3 battery-powered mini amp. 💥
One lucky winner will scoop the lot on 31 July. All album vinyl and CD pre-orders made before that date will be automatically entered for the draw.
🎈'ONE MORE THING TO DO'. Talkboy supplied the music, our James supplied the words and vocals for the first track from 'Empty Days Club' - an album of fine indie artist collabs, including our Yorkshire cousins The Howl & The Hum and The Golden Age of TV, all in aid of NHS Charities Together.
🎈WHAT'S GOING ON? We're proud to be part of a special vinyl-only release to benefit the Music Venue Trust's #saveourvenues campaign, ft. our unreleased 2014 version of 'Can I Stay Here Forever (pt.I)' + unheard B-sides/demo's/live tracks from Gengahr, The Night Café, Little Comets, Flyte, Sad Boys Club, Peace, When Young, Connie Constance, Abbie Ozard, Jerry Williams and Jaws. We all need venues to enjoy live music in when this is over - please support if you can! 👊
