YOU'VE BEEN A BLAST, 2018! Thanks to all of you for helping make it our best year yet. Let's all go out and majestically ride 2019! 🎉🎈

We've pulled together some of our personal highlights from the past 12 months below....

In January, we were lucky enough to be invited to the iconic BBC Maida Vale Studios London for a live session. It's safe to say we'd never been as collectively nervous/excited when we walked in. We set up and ran through the songs a few times before the cameras rolled and were in a room doing some vocal warm-ups when someone popped their head round the door and told us that the piano James was sat at was played by none other than Sir Paul McCartney himself on the Beatles' Maida Vale session. It was genuinely one of...

Join us at Oporto on Dec 5th for one final soiree as we (The International Superstar DJ's) take a well earned rest from the adrenaline fuelled life of the modern disc jockey. 🎈

READING/LEEDS 2018. We're already in full-on nostalgia mode for last weekend. Thanks to all who came along to the BBC Radio 1 stage and made it special. There's a video above and some kind words below. 🎈

The Leeds band bring sunshine to a rainy Sunday.

- Dork Magazine

The magnificent Marsicans on the BBC Radio 1 Stage are in possession of some top tunes..driving rhythm and soaring harmony-laden vocals.

- With just a hint of mayhem

One of the most talented and underrated bands around right now.

- The National Student

A bigger sound than when we last saw them, Maccabees fans should check them out.

- Spend Matters

Marsicans' sun-kissed guitar-pop brought bags of sunshine to a very impressive crowd at the Radio 1 Stage.

- Bang The Drum

Well, well, well... it has been bestowed upon me to fill you in on what has been happening in Marsicansland throughout May and June. You may have noticed that we didn't post one of our tell-alls last month, and we apologize profusely for that, but we were busy being an international beat combo. Or something like that, LET ME TELL YA ALL ABOUT IT THEN...

Festival season kicked off for us in a big ol' way. At the start of May, we commandeered the ears of the fine people of Leeds, Liverpool and Newcastle and delivered some sweet, sweet jams into them. Despite sitting in M62 traffic for 1 million hours in the heat, it was a glorious way to start what is a rather exciting festival season for us.

Then, we hopped in a big metal can and hurtled toward...

OFF THE PLANE straight to the beach: Toronto to Brighton is the furthest distance we've travelled between gigs so far but our sunny three days at the Great Escape made it worthwhile. Thanks to those who took time to come down and write about us. 🎈

One of a few indie bands with a good chance of breaking into the mainstream are Marsicans...reminiscent of the Maccabees, with just the right kind of songs and style to remember the next time around.

- Little Indie Blog

Queue the sweaty storming show from Marsicans at Sticky Mike’s. This band never fail to make my day...soon they will be off on their merry way, playing the bigger stages I can’t get near.

- Popped Music

Marsicans blew me away at the Komedia. The band looked thrilled to be performing to a c...

JOOOON SCHOOOOL NIGHT. We're shaping up for our last School Night of term at Oporto, Leeds, Wed June 6th. Banging live sets ahoy from Loux//GRDNS//Still Circles, all curated by Emily Pilbeam of BBC Introducing/Radio 1 fame + sh'boyyys on the decks and the jäger! 🎈

AFTER 5 HOURS trapped in M62 gridlock on our way to Liverpool Sound City 2018, we made our set at the Camp & Furnace stage by the skin of our teeth. Thanks to all who came down and helped us work off our stress! Thanks too to those who wrote the kind words below...🎈

MARSICANS just arrived, jumped out the van and ploughed through a brisk twenty minutes of heartwarming pop.

- Louder Than War

Marsicans' upbeat, summery cheer remained in full force, matching their summery indie-pop belters beautifully...a day one highlight for the packed house that caught their set.

- We Close Tonight

Pop outfit Marsicans were a real highlight of the weekend...'high energy', 'jam-packed', or 'full throttle' feel like a complete understatement.

- The National Studen...

I think it’s stopped snowing. I don’t know. I’ve been crying under my quilt waiting for some sunshine. But there’s no such thing as global warming...

So, yeah, we had one week to thaw off after our snowy tour and we were on the road to support Feeder, which was kinda surreal, but we had a blast. But that’s it for gigs til festival season, when it’s all about outside stages, warm beers, and checking the weather forecast to see how many ponchos and spare socks you’ll need.

It’s been announcement after announcement for us, with a bunch of festivals, new and previously played, all being announced throughout March and April, and it makes us very excited to be out in Pat with our sunglasses on to protect our eyes from the rain. Notable mention...
