YOU'VE BEEN A BLAST, 2018! Thanks to all of you for helping make it our best year yet. Let's all go out and majestically ride 2019! 🎉🎈

We've pulled together some of our personal highlights from the past 12 months below....

In January, we were lucky enough to be invited to the iconic BBC Maida Vale Studios London for a live session. It's safe to say we'd never been as collectively nervous/excited when we walked in. We set up and ran through the songs a few times before the cameras rolled and were in a room doing some vocal warm-ups when someone popped their head round the door and told us that the piano James was sat at was played by none other than Sir Paul McCartney himself on the Beatles' Maida Vale session. It was genuinely one of...

AFTER THREE YEARS, next month's School Night, curated by Dork and headlined by LUCIA with support from Deco & ørmstons, will be our last regular monthly night. Join us at Oporto on Dec 5th for one final soiree as we (The International Superstar DJ's) take a well earned rest from the adrenaline fuelled life of the modern disc jockey. 🎈

THANK YOU, 2017! It's been an honour: 83 shows, 5 countries, 3 singles and 1 big bag of laughs. With love and thanks to the ace team we work with, to the amazing bands we've learned from, to the wonderful people we've met along the way and especially to all of you, our fans, for your support. Also thanks for putting up with another year of Cale's jokes. 🎈

This month's instalment of the NY Times bestseller Marsicans Band Blog comes from me, James. As I look out of my window to see my new Ultra Soft Pyjama Bottoms (USPBs) flying in the wind, I can't help but reminisce on what has been the best year of my life. *Queue the montage clips and power ballads*.

BUT before I get all emotional on you, I'll fill you in on our December ongoings.

We started the month with our final SCHOOL NIGHT of 2016. We invited down our friends in Cassia and Vynce, who played mega sets to a packed out Oporto before the Virgin Mary, Jesus, Santa and an Elf (A.K.A. us) took to the stage for what was an incredibly fun gig. I never thought we'd end our set with a cover of The Darkness' Christmas Time (Don't let the bells end)...

December is a great time to reflect on the year, whether you've become the world's greatest Connect 4 player, successfully remembered all the words to JB's new album, or something else as equally skilful. Of course there are two types of people at this time of year: those who lose theirselves amongst all the festivities, selection boxes and wishful dreams of a white Christmas; and those who couldn't care less. I'm in the former of those two categories.

2015 has been one big old tasty slice o'pie for us. We've genuinely had the best time ever. I'm going to take a moment amongst my boring ramblings to just say a massive THANK YOU to everyone who has crossed paths with us in any way this year. If you came to a gig, housed us, drove us,...

Friends, Romans, Marsifans –A HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL!

2014 was a year packed full of high-lights and de-lights for us. It’s hard to pick them all out but among the things that gave us pleasure were the release of The Chivalry EP along with a video that gave the poor editors sleepless nights (it did win an award for their efforts though!); our favourite Live At Leeds to date; the band’s first Radio 1 play for Terrapin; brand new recordings; hearing our music used in settings we didn’t expect like Scottish Football and a wine festival promo; a homemade video for Something English; rounding off the year with some cracking live dates and support slots with Embrace and The Pigeon Detectives on our Winter Tour 2014.

Team Marsican was also blessed...
