RADIO 1's TIP OF THE WEEK is Pop-Ups (Sunny at the Weekend) - with a huge, bubbling vat of thanks to Abbie McCarthy and BBC Music Introducing for putting it forward. Thanks too to Huw Stephens and Phil Taggart for the ongoing Radio 1 support and to Tom Robinson Music for topping off our sunny weekend by giving the track its first spin on BBC Radio 6 Music! 📻☀️🎈

BAND ON BAND. Yesterday The Amazons interviewed James on FUBAR Radio. The bants flowed like wine. Link below ICYMI. 🎈

WE POPPED into BBC Leeds earlier this week. You can our chat with Emily on BBC Introducing in West Yorkshire. Thanks to Alan Raw for the radio premier of our new single Friends at the 34 minute mark here. 🎈

LAST WEEK we were invited onto The Morning Show with Kees Wieling on KX Radio in Amsterdam. After a very early start, we had a nice chat on air about our time in the Netherlands and Kees kindly sorted us out with coffee and stroopwaffels. 🎈

You can watch our bleary-eyed performance of Swimming here.

WITH GRATITUDE to all platforms that support new music and emerging artists and with apologies to anyone we've missed out, we'd like to express our massive appreciation to all the blogs, playlists, radio shows and other outlets who've helped spread the word about the Absence EP since its release last month.

XPOSURE - John Kennedy honoured us again by giving Swimming its first national radio play last night on Radio X's new music showcase.

We had a great time meeting him and playing his Remedy showcase at the Tooting Tram & Social Club earlier this year and hope to be back soon.

HITTING THE AIRWAVES! Thanks to John Kennedy for giving our upcoming single, Gone In A Second, a spin this week on XFM's X-posure show. Even better that it came on just before the live session with our ol' Tynside pals Lisbon -whose single launch gig at Newcastle Think Tank we're playing on 18 April, the same day as our single launch. It's small indie-pop world, eh?

"Love the track. More play to come!" said the kind Mr Kennedy.

Let it be so...
