🎈ANNOUNCEMENT: Due to the ongoing COVID situation and no indication yet about when live music venues will open again for shows, we’ve taken the difficult decision to re-think our plans for the 'Ursa Major' tour scheduled for October.
LONDON, LEEDS and MANCHESTER - these shows will now take place in April of next year, instead of October. All tickets purchased will still be valid for the re-scheduled dates, so just hang on to those and we’ll see you in April. Ace support comes in the shape of Deco and Sad Boys Club.
ABERDEEN, GLASGOW and BRISTOL - sadly, we’ve not been able to re-schedule these shows for April. We hope to get out to you as soon as we can, but for now tickets are refundable from your point of purchase.
🎈TOUR TOUR TOUR. Unlike certain Texan festivals, this one IS happening - and in October when we'll all be quarantine-free and have plenty of loo roll. Join us, Deco and Sad Boys Club as we make our way to you! 🚐
AUTUMN TOUR DATES. We're thrilled to announce we'll be joining Fickle Friends on all UK tour dates this October, including O2 Shepherds Bush Empire. All shows 14+. All shows guaranteed to be absolute ragers. 🕺🎈
It's me: Rob, your favourite member of semi-popular beat combo Marsicans. How are you? What's new in your life? Who did YOU think would win 'Dancing On Ice' in 2011? Oh wow, I also thought it would be Vanilla Ice. It must be love.
Now that we have all the burning questions out of the way, I'm going to take you step-by-step through all things Marsican from the month of March.
Let me set the scene: it's March-eve (February 28th to non-weirdos) and sh'boys have just finished our final tour rehearsals with full production and all the trimmings. Tomorrow is the first day of our UK headline tour and we're all really excited to come out and play some sold-out shows to you lovely, lovely people. We make a list, check it twice, Oli breaks a mi...
Y’know when you only meet someone briefly but your solid judge of character tells you they’re a good, honest person and that in time you’ll be close friends and somewhere much further down the line you would (maybe) consider sharing a chocolate bar with them? Well, I’m getting that feeling with the year 2018, which is fortunate for me because I’m fairly certain that it doesn’t eat chocolate.
At the end of January, BBC introducing invited us down to the legendary Maida Vale studios to record four songs for the lovely Huw Stephens at BBC Radio 1. Now, that’s a sentence I didn’t think I’d be writing any time soon. A huge thank you is in order to Simon, George, Rhona and the brilliant film crew for smashing it out the park from start to finish. We...

WE HAD such a ball playing for JAWS' fans on this tour. Thanks to all who came, moshed and conquered. Some kind words about the shows below... 🎈
Liverpool, Magnet 24.11.17
"The group’s feelgood vibes were easily enough to get anyone smiling. Each song saw the band take on a different style whilst also keeping it completely their own. Marsicans continue to pull it out of the bag."
"Maintaining the energy of the evening, the ever-colourful Marsicans remain the most cheerful band I’ve come across on a stage, filling the room with both their smiles and sound."
WE'RE DELIGHTED to announce that our second support tour this autumn will be with Jaws on part deux of their UK tour, hitting Liverpool, Newcastle, Edinburgh, York, Sheffield and Birmingham. With a couple of festival dates, a handful of headline dates, a show in Paris and an October support tour with Clean Cut Kid, we can't wait to hit the road this autumn! 🎈
Classic Hippo Campus, eh? What they like, eh? OH you’re not sure? Well let me, Cale, tell you. We rocked (the boat) up to Thekla, Bristol to start our UK tour with them and there they were… on stage… looking glorious… God-like… thumping the shit out the drums so we rushed for our ear plugs as it was a feisty PA system. So, first things first, we introduced ourselves and our nicknames, which, if anyone knows them, they’re a bit unconventional, plus our Yorkshire accents to American ears...it was destined for chaos but actually they instantly remembered them. And I only remembered one of their names for the first two days: "Whistler" (rare name, easy) and felt guilty for not remembering the others quite so easily.
ABSENCE EP TOUR. We've put together a load of photos from our favourite moments on the road over the past couple of months. We had the best time over the 17 dates and are already looking forward to getting back out there in the new year!🎈
